Community Thanksgiving Eve Worship Gathering
You are invited to gather with us on the Eve of Thanksgiving for a collaborative night of worship, celebration in community, and finding ourselves gratefully equipped for God’s mission in the world.
For over a decade, Hempfield Church of The Brethren and East Petersburg Mennonite Church have collaborated together to host a community night of worship on Thanksgiving Eve. Every year, we look forward to this time together and with our neighbors.
This year East Petersburg Mennonite Church is the host. The night will begin with worship at 7:00 p.m. There will be both modern and traditional elements to our time gathered together. During the night an offering will be taken, and all donated monies will go directly to hurricane disaster relief work provided by Mennonite Disaster Service and Brethren Disaster Ministries.
We hope you will join us for this special night of reflecting on all we have to be thankful for and to celebrate community together. After our worship gathering, a time of refreshments will follow.
