New Here?

East Petersburg Mennonite ChurchIt can be a little overwhelming when you are visiting any place for the first time. We hope to give you a small glimpse into what you can expect and who we are.

East Petersburg Mennonite Church is a church community that is learning to live and love like Jesus. We invite everyone and anyone to join us on the journey of learning to live and love like Jesus. We love meeting new people and learning their stories.

When you arrive you will find individuals standing at our doors welcoming you with a smile and any answers to your questions. Inside the lobby, you will also find a welcome desk with information and friendly volunteers to assist you. At the desk, you will find a free mug for our guests. Inside the mug, you will find information that tells you a little more about who we are, what we value and our story. The mug is our way of saying you are invited to the table and that we value your presence and voice.

You will find us at 6279 Main Street in East Petersburg, PA.

On Sunday Mornings, we have two worship gatherings. Those two worship gatherings are Sunday School and our Main Worship Gathering.

  • 9am – 10am. Sunday School.
During Sunday School, we meet in smaller groups for community and conversation. Some classes are by age and others by topic. Children also gather into their own classes that are taught by a very caring team.
  • 10am – 11:30am. Main Worship Gathering.
Our Main Worship Gathering is a meaningful time of community, worship and a practical life-giving morning message.  Children are invited to stay with us for worship. Before the message on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month, a team member will escort them to their own engaging classes.  Our younger children transition seamlessly from Sunday School to the next hour in there own classes.

We invite you to be yourself when you gather with us. You may notice some people dress formally, but most of us dress causally and come to encounter God as we are.

If you have any more specific questions, we invite you to reach out.
