Covenant and Kingdom

This January, we start a new sermon message series on Sunday Mornings. Our series, Covenant and Kingdom, explores how these two themes are intertwined throughout the whole story of God. Though the theology and themes of Covenant and Kingdom find their fulfillment and fullest expression in the life and ministry of Jesus, there are foundations that are laid in the beginning of the story of humanity as a way of maintaining the oneness with God that we were created for.

Our upcoming sermon series will be making use of a resource by the same name of our series, that was authored by Missiologist Michael Breen for 3DM Publishing. Breen’s resource explores how, after the Fall, the way was blocked; yet, God built a bridge, in Covenant, back to us. In Jesus, that Covenant was fulfilled, as on the cross, he offered himself as the ultimate blood sacrifice.
