DECEMBER 2020 PLANS FOR IN-PERSON GATHERINGS

EPMC December 2020 Plans for In-Person Gatherings  (updated 12.04.20)

It is our desire to continue to offer in-person worship gatherings in December to meet people’s needs for spiritual and relational connection. We also recognize the significant rise in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations. We want to be wise in how we gather to care for people’s physical needs as well. We want to protect those who are most vulnerable, limit community spread of the virus and not put more strain on our already stressed healthcare systems. Holding all of these realities, we offer the following guidelines for all in-person gatherings within our church building. We have made this plan for the month of December, but know that it is possible that we may need to make changes along the way.

We understand that this pandemic has impacted each and every one of us. We care about you and invite you to reach out to us with needs you may have. We are praying for God’s purposes to prevail in each of us and in our faith community as we keep walking with God through these uncertain times.

The BRIDGE Team

Guidelines:

If you are showing possible COVID-19 symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who is showing symptoms, we ask that you do not join in-person gatherings.

If you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive or is being tested for COVID-19, we ask that you make the hard decision to stay home.

We ask that you follow the rules of quarantine for travel recommendations by our state government.

Face Coverings are required to be worn by every person two years and older for any indoor gathering held within our church building. There are exceptions for a medical condition, mental health condition, or disability that makes it unreasonable for a person to maintain a face covering. Face Coverings are available at our main entrance.

Social Distancing is important as we talk together and worship together. We ask you to sit distanced from non-household members in the sanctuary.

Hygiene Please wash your hands, use available hand sanitizers and refrain from touching your face.
