Stand Together Against Hate and Bigotry: An Interfaith Event

You are invited to Stand Together Against Hate and Bigotry: An Interfaith Event at Temple Beth El, on Mon, Jan. 27th, 2020. This event will begin at 7:00 P.M.

The United Nations General Assembly has designated Jan. 27, the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. We are gathering to honor the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and millions of other victims of Nazism.

In addition, we are standing together against all hate and bigotry, so that God’s Shalom invade every area of our relationships, neighborhoods, and spheres of influence.

Temple Beth El is hosting this interfaith commemoration of the Holocaust, featuring religious leaders:

  • Rabbi Daniela Szuster (Temple Beth El)
  • Rabbi Rami Pavolotsky (Temple Beth El)
  • Pastor Jeff McLain (East Petersburg Mennonite Church)
  • Pastor Christopher Rankin (Trinity UCC)
  • TBA Representative from the Lancaster Islamic Center.

We invite and encourage you to take part in this evening together. Invite a friend or neighbor, to come and stand with you against hatred and bigotry. In case of inclement weather, we will meet on Tue, Jan. 28, 7 P.M.
